Spriting Guide Part one(version 1)[/b] A few useful notes on Spriting(All sprite base forms are borrowed from the pokemon sprites or previously created sprites) Boy spritesGirl sprites FD Sprite Gallery -After collecting parts from the sprite pages above, I use paint to create the sprites. I am able to upload pics into the .GIF format using photoshop, but other methods are availible. -I make copies of every major step I take, so that if I make a mistake, I can go back to the previous form and try again. -To make it easier to see the sprite, I usually keep paint on the 6x or 8x magnification. This tends to make parts of the sprite look awkward, but when on 1x or 2x, the sprite looks proper. -If creating a sprite based on a computer picture, take a copy of it and shrink it to be able to be seen on the computer as you work on the sprite. This is especially useful when needing to borrow colors In the next part, I will cover how to resize sprites based on height differences, skin tones, and making a sprite from many parts.
And there you go.
