Appearance
Personality
The less aggressive of the two, Darklizardmon has a rather passive temperament, and only really gets mad when arguing with Flarelizardmon. Darklizardmon has a knack for looking at problems from a different angle, and is slow to get angry. When he is angery, though, he lashes out quickly and doesn’t think to clearly. He is rather friendly towards strangers, and is generally hospitable towards most humans and digimon. He is a rather fast adapter, and enjoys playing with various technological toys that Melana brought him.
Background
--PreworldlyAs a rookie Dokunemon, he spent all of his time in the digital world’s many forested areas. Being a rather possessive type, he often fought with other rookie digimon over food and shelter, nothing too serious, but it still prepared him nonetheless for future battles. One fateful day, a particularly nasty agumon tried to make off with some of his tree. They got into a rather nasty fight, which turned into a rather nasty PHYSICAL fight. It reached such a heated level (for rookie digimon), that they both digivolved in the middle of it, the agumon into Flarelizardmon and himself into Darklizardmon. Some more fighting ensued, but it ended in a stalemate. They both reached an agreement NOT to take the tree branches without permission, and life continued as normal.
However, in a few days Flarelizardmon was back, and he claimed that the tree actually belonged to him. Another fight happened, which eventually lead to the tree getting destroyed in the process. They both got mad and stormed off in separate directions. Darklizardmon, though, not being happy that his try was destroyed, followed Flarelizardmon in the hopes of catching him from behind.
However, flarelizardmon turned out to be quite the runner, and soon the entire thing became a chase. Both digimon being equally swift, they ran without any gain or lost until they both got too exhausted, and agreed to take a rest. However, they had somehow been transported during the chase into the Lerkurlian dimension, but they couldn’t tell because the forest had hardly changed.
Upon waking up the next morning, Flarelizardmon had discovered a piece of fruit hanging off a tree, and knocked it off with a blast of fire, knocking the fruit onto Darklizardmon’s head, waking him up. Then they got into a fight over who should get the fruit, when two odd creatures stepped out from behind a tree.
--Recent Events The creatures (humans, he learned) tried to help stop the fight, and in flarelizardmon’s confusion, Darklizardmon took this time to eat the fruit. This caused another fight, which raged on for a few more hours, before they both called a truce to sleep.
The next day, the creatures returned with fruit, and offered a proposition for them two to join their human party. Flarelizardmon agreed quickly, but Darklizardmon didn’t like that they had interrupted them in the middle of an argument. However, one of the humans seemed really nice, and gave him an extra piece of food, so he decided to go anyway.
A few weeks after the entire experience, a few more human’s showed up to transport them to another location in a “city”. Darklizardmon didn’t like being so close to Flarelizardmon during the trip, but the trip was short and they both arrived in a forested area shortly, and he was happy again. The two humans visited him often, and he learned there names. HE liked the Melana one better of the two, so he agreed to be her “partner”, not fully understanding what this meant anyway. He has of yet to go on any truly “dangerous” missions yet, and for the most part enjoys a quite life bugging various wildlife in the park.
Personal Details
Fears
He fears Flarelizardmon getting the upper hand, and losing what little ownership he holds.
Interests
He isn’t too interested in many things, but he does have a certain liking for the structures of the city dwellings, and various aspects of the technology that Melana lets him look at.
Future Goals
He is interested in living a rather simple life in a forested area, without conflict from anyone or anything, possibly learning to read some of the language humans use.
