Funbari no Uta(ふんばりの詩 The Song/poem of Funbari) is a series of short stories written by Hiroyuki Takei relating to the manga series Shaman King.
Funbari no Uta and consists mainly of Yoh Asakura, Anna Kyōyama, and their life together at Minshuku En, a Japanese traditional inn.
Most of the characters of Shaman King only ever appeared in the final story in Funbari no Uta, and in the final "episode"(which is set seven years later(2007) after the Shaman Tournament) introduces the character of Hana Asakura(six years old), the son of Yoh and Anna(whose name is a formed from "Ha", another prononciation of the character from Yoh's name, and "Na" from Anna's name. It also means "flower" in Japanese). The last story also features Hana and Ryunosuke Umemiya (also known as "Wooden Sword" Ryu) who are collecting five warriors for a special rendezvous.
Character Changes
* At 2007, Yoh is now 21 years old which probably makes Anna 21 years old. Yoh grew his hair longer so his appearance closely resembles that of Hao, so many say that Yoh has become a hybrid of Hao.
* An interview with Takei confirms this notion. Anna's hair has also grown longer and she seems to have matured both physically and mentally.
* Ryu's hair do is still the same from his Shaman King days but it looks longer. Ryu looks bigger and much older too and it is recognized through his facial hair.
* A questionable thing in Funbari no Uta is the main spirit of Hana Asakura.
* The manga still remains unfinished and there are a lot more possibilities can be encountered and maybe new or old characters will show their faces.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the series, Yoh is 13-14. This is 7 years later, and he(with Anna of course) has a 6-year-old kid Discuss.
