He seems to have taken on a VERY stereotypical "lackey" role with jamie RIGHT AWAY. I mean they're using phrases like "Yes, my mistress" and "my dear Clif".

He either somehow sucked up to Jamie enough to get this far overnight, was lackeyfied somehow, or Jamie and Clif are dating.
